VFW POST 7539
Bloomingdale VFW Post 7539 is an organization dedicated to serving Veterans, their families and community by providing resources and community engagement.
MISSION & HISTORY
Bloomingdale VFW Post 7539 has the sole mission to serve Veterans, their families and the community. For more than 30 years Bloomingdale VFW Post 7539 has been of service to our community and nation. We have provided financial assistance as well as donated items to flood and hurricane victims in neighboring states. Most recently we provided funds to support the fire victims in Hawaii and tornado victims in Iowa.
Through our annual winter clothing and move-in-essential drives, in partnership with the Village of Bloomingdale, we have provided thousands of items to hundreds of Veterans and their families who were in need.
And every year we sponsor written essay and speech contests for students in the community. Supporting our students is a prime mission of Bloomingdale VFW Post 7539.
WHERE WE
MEET AND MORE
Our meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month at the lower level of the Bloomingdale Library, 101 Fairfield Way, Bloomingdale, IL 60108. Coffee and donuts are available at 6:30pm with our meetings beginning promptly at 7:00pm and ending not later than 8:45pm. Meetings are open to any VFW Member.

We DO NOT have a hall to rent nor do we have a bar. Funds and donations otherwise spent to support a building are used in service to our Veterans, their families and the community.

Bloomingdale VFW Post 7539 works closely with area VA Medical Facilities who share the commitment to supporting Veterans and their families. These partners play a crucial role in helping the organization fulfill its mission and expand its reach within the community.
